For some, the best part of SPACES-City National Plaza (CNP) is the location or that jaw-dropping view of the city of Angels. Others say it’s SPACES commitment toward modern workplaces, but all agree it’s the professional and inviting atmosphere that makes SPACES so electrifying. The affable spark that begins every day at SPACES traces back to SPACES’ community associates, Morgan Bertolotti and Erika Bacoka.
If they’re not found confirming bookings or designing office interiors, these two are jovially speaking with clients about that hip restaurant three blocks away. This atmosphere is exactly what SPACES consistently prides themselves on: creating modern work environments, at competitive prices, that not only provides every amenity a business could need, but organically enriching a community of professionals striving for auspicious aims.
The recurring sense of community is the biggest delight for Bertolotti. One of her favorite parts of the job is interacting with the variety of clients inhabiting SPACES-CNP. From architects, graphic designers, commercial real estate developers and lawyers, all have a unique story to their decision of working at SPACES, but they all benefit from working alongside each other. As Bertolotti says, “That’s the really cool thing about this place is the sense of community, so often I’ll talk to a client who’s looking for this or that, or wanting to network with a certain company. And I’d have that company already in mind because of the other clients here.”
The design for community-driven environments originates from the first SPACES location in Europe. Now with more than 3,000 locations globally, their venture in creating such environments signifies not just a need for them, but the prosperity that dovetails out of them. “It’s not your traditional office style, it’s modern and sophisticated, but it’s warm and inviting at the same time,” says Bacoka, “It makes people lighten up, talk to each other and be friendlier to their work neighbors.”
City National Plaza SPACES is no different. Filling two floors of office space, clients can decide from open-aired work environments to closed offices. Either way, SPACES’ candid approach to office conditions uplifts clients’ milieu like no other office company. It’s a rewarding part of the job as Bacoka points out. “We grow fantastic relationships with our clients where we know each other’s kids names,” says Bacoka. And with its location in the heart of Los Angeles, powwowing to downtown landmarks or new restaurants is just a hop, skip and a jump away from the office.
Above all the impressionable experience that clients receive from SPACES-CNP is often the reason why clients are sustaining members. As Bacoka points out, “taking care of the client in real time is our biggest priority.”
