The State Bank of India (SBI) is the popular bank recruitment exam known as the SBI PO exam. The SBI PO exam is a competitive bank exam and a lot of candidates apply for it. Because of the competitive level of the SBI PO, only limited candidates cross the finishing line hence it is advised to prepare for SBI PO effectively to qualify and have a bright future. Candidates need to appear in the SBI exam which is conducted in different phases/stages.  This exam is conducted in three stages, preliminary, mains, Group Exercises, and interviews. mainly needs a Language Proficiency Test too.

State Bank of India closed  This year’s application form online today, October 12 on the official website at sbi.co.in. The SBI PO application form 2022 was released on September 22. They also released the SBI PO 2022 notification to fill sixteen hundred and seventy-three vacancies in the Probationary Officers cadre at various branches of SBI across the country. The SBI PO 2022 prelims exam is the first stage in the selection process to be qualified.

SBI apply online

You’ll have to apply online to give the SBI exam. There are certain procedures that need to be kept in mind while configuring the SBI apply online process. The SBI PO 2022 preliminary exam is conducted in an online model comprising a total of hundred marks of 1 mark each. The questions are asked from general based questions on three sections – English Language, Reasoning Ability, and Quantitative Aptitude. Candidates are given a total of one hour (20 minutes of time is given to solve each of the three sections). The questions are objective in nature and the 1/4th mark is reduced for each wrong response. Candidates who have the eligibility criteria of SBI PO could apply for the SBI exam 2022. As per the rules and the eligibility criteria for this examination, graduates between 21 to 30 years of age as on April 1, 2022, can only appear for the test. SBI PO examination is a national-level exam that is conducted across India. Candidates qualifying in all the stages are appointed as Probationary Officers/Management Trainees at any of the SBI Branches.

Candidates who have qualified for the prelims exam have to attend the mains exam which is a three hours online exam comprising a total of 155 questions for 200 marks. The questions are asked from four sections – Reasoning and  Computer Aptitude, Data Analysis and  Interpretation, General/ Economy/ Banking Awareness and English Language. Candidates also need to write in a paperwork manner about topics given in essay writing and listening skills. It is for 50 marks. . For the descriptive test, candidates are given 30 minutes. Candidates who qualified for the mains exam have to attend the final interview which is mandatory, after which the qualified candidates are then approved after completion of medical and verification of documents.

Q2. Is there anything new in SBI PO 2022 Notification?

Ans. Yes, the Phase II exam pattern has undergone a little bit of change. At the earliest there were 45 questions in Reasoning & Computer Aptitude, now there are only 40 questions. Similarly, there were 35 questions in Data Analysis & Interpretation, but now they are reduced to 30 questions. Plus, 10 questions are added to General/ Economy/ Banking Awareness which are only having 40 questions.

Q3. What is the eligibility age limit for applying to the SBI PO exam?

Ans. Applicants must be between the ages of 21 to 30 years. Candidates from the reserved categories, on the other hand,  candidates can have their upper age limit.
