Make team building more fun and exciting with these activities

If you’re wondering about hosting a team-building event for your team, you might not be certain which activities are the most perfect for including. Which ones are the most practical, and which activities are plain tricks?
In this particular blog, we’ve compiled all that you need to know about organizing a victorious team-building event for your employees. Whether you’re the HR manager for a major firm or the owner of an imaginative new start-up, the activities you incorporate in your event highly influence its success.
The best part? There are many places for team building activities in Dubai. So, without further ado, let’s get to these activities:
Battle of the Airbands
Divide your teams up into groups of 3-4 people and let them determine who will be the guitarists, singers, drummers, etc. Provide them some time to select, listen to, and perform a lip-synced version of any work-friendly song they desire. If they have a few days, teams can bring props or even dress up. After the performances, teams can decide and vote on the winner (with the caveat that no one can vote for their own band). Or, any other division in the neighbourhood be part of the fun activity and have them select the winner.
Complete an Escape-the-Room Challenge
Majorly all employees are doing this these days, and it’s no surprise why: making an effort to escape when you’re “tangled” in a room with individuals (in a fixed period of time) is a team effort. If you are residing in a city that provides them (some alternatives on the same spot), you can look for an assortment of escape-the-room challenges involving a submarine, jail cell, or even an office (how ironic!). This adventure activity will be truly worth taking your team bowling or spending for a few drinks at happy hour.
Create a Scavenger Hunt
Scavenger hunts can be incredible for new hires to get to understand the landscape and their team—needing them to specify things around the office and request seasoned employees’ questions during their first week, such as “When was the business started?” or “Who was the foremost client?” or “How many individuals work on the marketing team?”
Moreover, you set one up for employees to unleash X number of artifacts or facts by the end of the day all along. Or divide the group into different teams and see who completes first. this will encourage team members to work in collaboration on something far removed from their ordinary work and team of individuals.
Zombie Escape
Assemble the team into a conference room or other vacant space and “lock” the door. The volunteer zombie will be tied to the rope in the corner of the room, with 1 foot of leeway. The moment the team exercise begins, every five minutes, the rope restraining the hungry zombie is let out on a different foot. Soon, the zombie will be capable of reaching the living team members, who will be required to solve a series of clues or puzzles to determine the hidden key that will open the door and help them to flee before it’s too late.
Community Service
Take part in Adopt-a-Family events during the holidays, take on a community beautification project, organize a beach clean-up— look for an activity that is attractive to your team or reflects your company values, do some good for your community and your team and get out of the office.
Play Team or Board Games
There’s Code Names, Apples to Apples (an SFW version of Cards Against Humanity), Jenga, and Pandemic—all games that need teamwork. There are also non-tabletop games, such as Celebrity or Heads Up (available on Android and iOS), that require nothing but a device or paper and a pen.
It may feel silly to pull out some games in the middle of the office, but you may be surprised to determine that doing so loosens your team up and coerces them to work together in distinct and imaginative techniques.
Play Zipline Adventure Together
Zipline adventure park has gained immense popularity in recent years, but it hasn’t always been games and fun. The origins of this recreational activity are amazingly practical. The function of the zipline has grown over time from an eco-tourism icon, a fast mode of transportation, to a scientific research tool.
While they make an effort to get a bad rap—picture some compulsory HR event where everyone searches for miserable and no one looks forward to going along for the ride—the right kinds of team-building activities can bring people together, support teams work more effectively, and determine gaps and strengths in individual team members.
