Agents of Change: Serving a community through art and advertising. Ukrainian leader Denys Kanel
In a private conversation had the pleasure of interviewing Denys Kanel for our Daxsen’s Agents of Change Series where we are interviewing some of the greatest international leaders
Denys is definitely one of its kind ,raised in Simferopol, Ukraine , committed to serving his community since the beginning even in the toughest times as the ones we are living on with post pandemic crisis and the Russia – Ukraine ongoing war . He is a strong art supporter which led him to open his own art gallery with the intention to support his community but not limited to accept artists from all around the world, giving a platform to Ukrainian artists and their remarkable artworks.
Denys provides publicity for these artists and their work, collecting funds and sending them to Ukraine to support those in need. He also helps to bring attention to the US to be aware of conflicts happening in Ukraine while at the same time aids Ukrainian refugees by finding jobs and accommodations for them in the United States through advertising.
Denys Kanel is also an avid entrepreneur , he is the CEO and co-founder of Geometria, a growing advertisement agency established in 2013. Denys opened his first advertising company in his hometown which he managed for 10 years. Then, he moved to the United States, founded Geometria, and built his business from the ground up.
After a few meetings and a last private conversation I had the chance to learn more about Denys’ story and his business which I consider inspiring. Also, I took the opportunity to ask him a few questions.
Geometria’s Story
From the beginning, Denys had a clear vision for Geometria. He knew he wanted a company that provided services across the States, and the idea to create this advertising agency was born.
Denys built a team that understands how to show the value of a brand. Geometria creates everything from still picture ads to full-length commercials and everything in between to cater to each individual business’ promotional needs and keep customers engaged.
Since its beginnings in 2013, Geometria has thrived, quickly expanding to offer targeted advertisements in supermarkets, salons, medical offices, and residential buildings nationwide. They also use billboards, buses, street furniture, and subway stations to advertise outdoors as well as indoors.
This company now works with top brands and small businesses alike to help them reach their goals and maximize profits. These screens become these brands’ most beneficial marketing assets with their versatility and vast reach across regions throughout New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Florida and more to come.
