Is THC a Cannabinoid Too?
THC is likely what most people think when they hear “cannabis.” It is the active ingredient that gives cannabis its psychoactive effects and the component that has made cannabis such a contentious legal area over the years. While medical cannabis use is becoming widespread, you won’t find over 0.3% of THC in hemp consumer products. Casco Bay Hemp manufactures with full spectrum hemp which contains THC because of the benefits it provides due to the Entourage Effect. Legally, products can have up to 0.3% THC while still selling them as hemp products, because again, 0.3% THC in products is too low of a dose to make them psychoactive. That said, they do also manufacture THC free products for customers that require this. THC is not found in their pet products and certain edibles that are sold in certain states due to specific and unique State laws.
