Dani Stephenson Creating Legacy with Straight Forward

Dani Stephenson and Straight Forward Music Group are pushing boundaries in the music scene. And while the executive and his empire have been nothing but a sensation, it seems that this is just the beginning. 

Dani, or Dani as most would call him, is the Founder and President of the music group. The entrepreneur, music executive, and philanthropist has 15 years industry experience and has made an enormous impact on many lives. His experience includes working on albums and with artists such as Nana Rogues, Drake, Lucky Dancer, A$AP Ferg, Anne-Marie, Don Diablo, Celina Sharma, Ella Mai, Dave, J Hus, Big Sean, MANN, Diddy Dirty Money and many more. 

Stephenson started his journey as a music producer-writer, songwriting on a high note. Known initially under the alias “Pyramids In Paris,” he was one of the masterminds behind the Billboard Top #20 hit single “The Mack” featuring Mark Morrison & Fetty Wap. The single topped charts all over the globe and raked in over 300 million streams and in excess of 2 million sales worldwide. From then on it was only hit after hit.

As the captain of Straight Forward, Dani Stephenson has committed to serving only the best in the music and even in the community. Four major branches make up the collection of companies that is Straight Forward: Straight Forward Publishing, Straight Forward Music, Straight Forward Recordings, and Straight Forward Giving Foundation. 

Straight Forward Publishing is the arm that mainly focuses on offering creative services and global publishing services to some of the biggest artists around. Straight Forward Music, the two-time Grammy-nominated and Brit Award winner, then takes charge of managing the talent. Straight Forward Recordings, previously an imprint with Virgin EMI, offers A&R consultancy, music distribution, and marketing. 

At the heart of the domain is Straight Forward Giving Foundation, Dani’s charity initiative and fund-raising arm. The non-profit champions an array of charities that actively help the community and the underprivileged. Some charities that Straight Forward Giving Foundation helps include Princes Trust, NHS Charities Together, Young Lives Matter, and Youth Music. 

Most recently, the group of companies through the efforts of Straight Forward Giving Foundation has taken an active role in the fight against COVID-19. They are raising and pitching in finances to help families and individuals that have been affected by the onslaught that is the Coronavirus pandemic.

As a whole, Straight Forward Music Group has had a large impact on communities. Moreover, the company has put forward some of the best work that the music industry has seen. Some of Dani’s most notable output are hits such as Big Sean’s “Finally Famous”, MANN’s ”MANN’s World”, P Diddy’s Dirty Money “Last Train To Paris”, Drake’s “More Life” and “Scorpion”, J Hus “Big Conspiracy” and Dave’s “Psychodrama.” 

One of Dani and company’s biggest milestones happened in 2015 when the company penned a contract with Grammy nominee and Brit Award-winning Nana Rogues. Through the help of Straight Forward Music, she went on to do extensive work with artists like Drake, Ella Mai, Dave, Michael Jackson, J Hus, Anne-Marie, Wiz Khalifa, Zara Larsson, Skepta, Wiz Kid and many more. Nana’s biggest accomplishment as of late is her work in Drake’s highly applauded album “More Life” where the artist pitched in on two songs, “Skepta Interlude” and the worldwide hit “Passionfruit.”

On top of production work for successful releases, Dani Stephenson also does consultancy work for superstars like DJ producer Don Diablo, Kelis, Alex Clare, Emeli Sande, and Gucci Mane. He had a hand in developing records like “Give It All” and “Survive.”

With all that Dani and Straight Forward have achieved, the music mogul still has his eyes on the prize.
