How Brodie Kern Went From Addict To Millionaire

Recently, I had the pleasure of sitting down with Millionaire coach and recovering addict Brodie Kern. After being dead at 21, Brodie turned his life around through real estate and is now focused on helping men see success through his program, Wake Up Wealthy.

  • Hey Brodie, how old are you, where are you from, and what do you do?

Brodie Kern: I’m a 25 year Springfield, Missouri. My two main business is high-risk merchant services and I also have a coaching business. My main focus has been Wake Up Wealthy, my men’s coaching business where I teach individuals how to elevate their mind, body, spirit, and business.

  • Did you go to college?

Brodie Kern: I went to college for 3 years, then dropped out to go to rehab. My drug and alcohol problem had gotten so bad that I had no choice than to go to rehab.

  • What motivated you to be an entrepreneur?

Brodie Kern: Due to the fact that I was a college dropout and junkie, I had no choice but to pursue entrepreneurship. I was determined to make it work and because of that, I have seen success through entrepreneurship.

  • What made you get into coaching?

Brodie Kern: After making money and not being fulfilled, I had to find a way of life that allowed me to achieve and be happy. When i found it, i felt obligated to give it to others. The system I found is what I call the MBSB. Mind, body, spirit, and business. In Wake Up Wealthy, we deep dive into these 4 principles and showmen not only how to achieve financial success, but how to be happy.

  • Why is the MBSB so important to you?

Brodie Kern: From my experience, it’s the only way to achieve everything you want and be happy. Many people online are teaching how to make money, but what is money if you’re overweight and unhappy? Others are teaching spiritually and fitness, but not teaching any wealth creation principles. I believe to live an optimized life you need them all, so my coaching program is like a one-stop shop.

  • How have you leveraged Personal Branding?

Brodie Kern: I saw personal branding as a way to make money from being myself. So, I immediately jumped into building a personal brand for myself. I’ve appeared on tons of podcasts, spoke on many stages, and have told others about my movement through building my personal brand.

  • What does your average day look like?

Brodie Kern: My day consists of vigorous meditation, exercise, family time, work, and learning. I’ve learned that consistently repeating the same actions is one of the fastest ways to move toward your goals and become successful.

  • What are your 3 core principles?

Brodie Kern: Be disciplined, take radical ownership of EVERYTHING, and don’t ever complain, just be grateful.

  • What would you tell an aspiring entrepreneur in high school right now?

Brodie Kern: The more you fail, the more potential you have. I have failed so many times in my life and every single failure has made me who I am today.

  • How important has Self Education been?

Brodie Kern: Listen, I’m a recovering alcoholic, hillbilly from Missouri who read 16 personal development books when I was in rehab. Personal development has been the biggest key to success in my life.

  • In closing, what are your future plans?

I really try to live in the moment and be present with what I’m doing. In terms of future plans, I don’t really have any. I’m going to keep working and taking action on what I’m presented with today.
