Recently, I had the pleasure of sitting down with Jeremy Haynes, CEO & Founder of Megladon Marketing. Jeremy owns a massive digital agency and works with some of the biggest internet entrepreneurs in the world. I asked him about his experiences, his life, and for some of his best tips and tricks.
Hey Jeremy, how old are you, where are you from, and what do you do?
I’m 25, I live in Miami Beach, Florida, and I am a top 1% Digital Marketer, Consultant and Advertiser driving results for 6-7 figure monthly personal brands. I also mentor 1,900+ students on starting and scaling marketing agencies, digital marketing, as well as personal branding.
Did you go to college?
Jeremy Haynes: No, after graduating high school I went straight into sales working for Directv, and later selling cell phones in CostCo before becoming a head of marketing in North Miami Beach.
What motivated you to be an entrepreneur?
Jerem Haynes: I have two core goals in life, ultimate time freedom and ultimate power of choice. Entrepreneurship provides me the freedom and fulfillment with never ending the potential for expansion.
What made you start a digital marketing agency?
Jeremy Haynes: I didn’t really know I was starting one when I first got started. I just knew I had digital marketing skills, could sell, and that people needed help.
I also knew that I didn’t have every digital skill there was and that I would need help in other areas like the graphic design as an example. So, when I first got started I wanted to make more than $10k monthly, have time freedom and control over my day, and a deep desire to help impact more people through the personal brands we help.
How have you leveraged Personal Branding?
Jeremy Haynes: It’s been the foundation of every business I’ve started and scaled. I’ve been able to meet people I wouldn’t have otherwise gotten to meet, speak on stages with big audiences, get on tv shows and podcasts, helping thousands of students around the world, and it enables an opportunity for people to get to know me before they even meet me, which speeds up trusts and brings more qualified opportunities forward.
What does your average day look like?
Jeremy Haynes: Well, I’m an internet entrepreneur and I live on an island in Biscayne bay down in Miami, so it’s a combination of a bunch of weird activities.
You could find me working on my treadmill desk, reading something about psychology or neuroscience, talking on the phone while looking at the view outside, kayaking, jet skiing, swimming, working out, writing ad copy or managing ad campaigns for clients, consulting with a client or inner circle student, traveling somewhere like LA or NYC, all the way over to getting groceries delivered instead of shopping for them.

Jeremy Haynes: Applied psychology in your marketing efforts gets more results, learn to leverage the hundreds of different cognitive biases, and remember that people’s interaction online models their behavior patterns in real life.
What are your future plans?
Jeremy Haynes: I have a goal to help over 20,000 paid students by the end of 2020, I’d like to scale my marketing agency to $1,000,000 monthly as I’ve been pursuing that goal since October of 2017. I’ve had a long term goal of generating over $8B for my clients and I’m proud to say we’re just shy of our first $100M generated over the last 4 years ongoing so far, so we have a long way to go, but great progress. I’d also like to ensure everyone around me becomes successful to their own standards. It’s been a strong reminder from my days working with Grant Cardone before I got started with my marketing agency, that success is a responsibility and a duty, and through my obligation to achieving success for myself I can help others do the same, and that benefits everybody including them personally, their families and everyone’s lives they impact as well. So my student’s success, Clients success, staff and families success, all means a lot to me.
