Adam Jordan is a social media expert and the C.E.O of Social kick( a firm that helps clients scale their brand on social media).
Through his expertise in social media branding and adept networking skill, Adam has worked with multi-billion dollar brands and celebrities, helping them successfully establish their presence online.
I got the chance to ask Adam a few questions about his journey so far as a successful digital marketer and entrepreneur.

Can you tell me about yourself?
My name is Adam Jordan and I’m a 24-year-old social media marketer from Liverpool, UK. I’ve been in marketing for the last 7 years and I help brands and individuals gain the exposure they deserve through social media, mainly Instagram.
Working with brands such as Revolut, Mastercard (Europe’s fastest-growing company) and Color Switch (One of the most downloaded games in the world), I have been recognized by the likes of Forbes for my results in viral growth and content.
I’ve grown accounts to over 5 million followers and worked with some of the worlds most influential social media stars.
I am a digital nomad, which means I do not have a set office and never stay in one place. I fully take advantage of the ability to work from just a phone and a laptop and only employ people on a remote working basis.
This allows me to travel the world and work from anywhere with an internet connection. The more flexibility the better!
What inspired you to start Social kick?
I started a fashion blog on Instagram when it was in its early stages and managed to gain enough followers for brands to start paying for ad space on the page.
Once I had my first brand approach me (after almost 2 years of growing with no monetization or money to invest), I knew that the social media space had countless opportunities to take advantage of.
I began a mini agency, contacting brands who may be interested in social media promotion and getting them posted on other fashion pages I had access to through networking with other page owners and like-minded individuals around the world (all while in my university dorms)
After this, I started buying and selling high follower accounts and building relationships with brands worldwide who needed help with their social media presence.
I developed a passion for helping brands gain exposure and helping them take their businesses and brands to the next level.
It’s always exciting for me to switch things up with new clients in different areas, so I can apply my skills and help those who need it worldwide.
My agency, Social Kick, now has clients in over 5 countries offering services such as Social Media Growth, Strategy, Content Creation and Graphic Design.
Give some advice on networking through social media
Networking for me has been a key factor in my success in this industry.
From simply sending DM’s on Instagram to people I thought I could offer value to, to attending networking events worldwide set up by marketing and social media Facebook groups, I try to network and build connections at every given chance.
My advice for people who are just starting within social media and marketing would be to not be afraid to reach out to those you look up to or people you can add value for.
LinkedIn is an extremely underutilized tool in modern society and needs to be used more frequently by new businesses to gain clients, speak to those in the industry or search for employees.
In a nutshell, DM those of interest to you, join Facebook groups relative to your field, find physical networking events local to you and stay active on LinkedIn!
What values and principles do you follow that help you get the job done?
I am extremely blessed and grateful to be in the position I am today.
Gratitude motivates me every day to be a better person and fulfill what needs to be done as I have not worked this hard and for this long to take a step back in life.
I just turned 24 and I’m just getting started!
Social media is a powerful tool, What words of advice would you like to share with brands lagging in this space?
- Network – Do not be afraid to put yourself out there. Meet as many people as possible as fast as possible. Knowledge is power and it is true what they say, your network is your net worth.
- It took me 2 years to put myself out there and I believe I could have sped up my success drastically if I started this sooner.
- Do not neglect the basics! – Using hashtags and geolocations to gain exposure is seen as a basic and useless way of getting exposure.
- Good engagement combined with these two simple tools can increase your reach and impressions, on average I usually see a 20% rise in organic reach!
- Use the right influencers – Influencers are key to stand out in the social media world, build on Instagram. Do your research, build strong relationships and test as much as possible as often as possible.
- Content & consistency – Content is king. Mix this with consistency and it will cause a snowball effect of strong engagement and outreach. Backlog and schedule your content, one of the main reasons businesses social metrics drop is because of the lack of content and creativity. Think ahead!
