MOVERS and SHAKERS Interview with Brandon Succes

Tell us your name and a little about yourself.

My name is Brandon Succes and I’m a 19-year-old entrepreneur. I was born in Chicago and I currently attend Florida International University in Miami, Florida. Shortly after high school, I decided to take the entrepreneur route and was introduced to network marketing by my mentors shortly after being fired from my jobs.

What exactly does your company do?

My company provides technology and education for the financial markets including the cryptocurrency market and the foreign exchange market. I also recently co-founded a brand with my business partner Matthew Fernandez. (@mfernz_57). The brand is called “Genxt” or “Generation Next”. This movement is based out of Canada and it has been helping hundreds of students invest their money with no prior knowledge.

What were the biggest challenges you have faced and how did you overcome them?

There were many challenges I had to face on this entrepreneur journey. One of the main challenges I actually faced was blocking out the outside noise. What I mean by this is cutting off all the negative people I currently had in my life. When I started surrounding myself with positive people who only want the best for me, good things started happening. Another challenge I had to face was maintaining consistent work ethics. This was a big challenge for me because there would be days where I didn’t feel like doing much, then there were days where I felt like doing everything. I overcame these challenges through personal development like reading uplifting books and listening to motivational speakers.

What piece of advice do you wish someone had given you at the start of your career?

A piece of advice I wish someone had given me at the start of my career is that consistency and maximum efforts compounds. It’s not the fact that I thought being an entrepreneur was easy, it’s the fact that I didn’t know that efforts compound. When I first started out I was wondering why I wasn’t seeing any change in my income and also why things weren’t moving as fast as I wanted them to move. As time went on, I started to see the mounds of success. I’ve now grown to enjoy the process no matter the situations or the circumstances.

Who are your biggest influences and people you admire and why?

There are a lot of people and influences that I admire. To start off, the first people that influenced me are my parents. The reason I say my parents is simply because they were always there for me growing up and they made many sacrifices for me. They always pushed me to become a better person and to strive to be the best. Other people in my life that I admire are my mentors. Without them pushing me and inspiring me to be the best, I wouldn’t be where I am as well.

None of us are able to achieve success without some help along the way. Is there a particular person who you are grateful towards who helped get you to where you are?

There is one person in particular that I am extremely grateful to have as a business mentor. As my mentor, Anthony Napolitano consistently provides me with business advice and life skills. He is a 7-figure earner (at the age of 24) and has over 5 years of experience in network marketing. Anthony and I talk a couple of times a day, or a couple of times a week. I am constantly learning from him and he is one of the biggest reasons why I’m achieving success. Learning the ropes of the game from Ant has to lead me to build a residual income for myself.

What do you see as your greatest success in life?

My greatest success in life is having the ability to affect so many lives by providing the opportunity to become financially free. I’m reminded of this each day as I continue to support my team in helping them to reach their personal and financial goals. To me, this is one of the most powerful and most rewarding feeling to experience.
