Tell us your name and a little about yourself.

My name is Vaida. I was born and raised in Lithuania, but for the last 8 years, I’ve been living in London. I have always had a keen interest in fashion. I’ve done some modelling in the past but decided to turn my career to blogging about fashion. And since Instagram took off and became a big thing I jumped on the platform. I create various content but mainly fashion. I am also a mum to a gorgeous little boy and have an ‘Insta’ husband.

What exactly does your company do?

I am the founder of Fashion Addicted blog. I am also a content creator on Fashionbyvaida Instagram and a public speaker. I share my love for fashion, beauty and travel on the blog and create eye-catching content on my Instagram.

What were the biggest challenges you have faced and how did you overcome them?

In my day to day life, I would say my biggest challenge is to raise my little boy as a good man and teach him all the values I have. In terms of work, I think the biggest challenge I’m facing is a huge competition. I often caught myself comparing myself to others and this is so wrong. It damaged my self-esteem and affected my mental health and therefore now I try to do my job the best I can and stop comparing myself with others.

What piece of advice do you wish someone had given you at the start of your career?

You shouldn’t compare yourself with others. Do not give up, as the road is always bumpy, but as long as you believe in yourself you can do it!

Who are your biggest influences and people you admire and why?

I am following quite a few influencers who I admire, their content is great, they have reached so much in their job and it inspires me that there is a possibility to do what you love and inspire others. I also admire Bill Gates and Elon Musk as they not only created businesses that churn out millions but they also have caring personalities.

None of us are able to achieve success without some help along the way. Is there a particular person who you are grateful towards who helped get you to where you are?

I would like to thank my husband. He is my true inspiration. He’s always so helpful, he encourages me, he teaches me and I couldn’t be happier to have him by my side.

What do you see as your greatest success in life?

I think my greatest success is yet to come!
