Tell us your name and a little about yourself.
My name is Don Wettrick I am the founder of StartEdUp Foundation and also a classroom teacher for the class “Innovation and Open Source Learning.”
What exactly does your company do?
We work with student entrepreneurs and help them launch. We also train them on how to scale up, find funding, and help them build a network.
What were the biggest challenges you have faced and how did you overcome them?
Getting students to see that THEY are in charge of their success.
What piece of advice do you wish someone had given you at the start of your career?
Start taking risks NOW. NOT when you are in your 40s w/ kids.
Who are your biggest influences and people you admire and why?
Gary Vee, Seth Godin, Daniel Pink, Tina Seelig
None of us are able to achieve success without some help along the way. Is there a particular person who you are grateful towards who helped get you to where you are?
