Movers & Shakers Interview with Stanislav Verstiuk

Tell us your name and a little about yourself.
My name is Stanislav Verstiuk, and the most of time I worked in the field of video content production, and for several years, I founded Verstiuk Production – Animated explainer video company that specializes in premium brief promotional video content for B2B companies, startups, and marketing professionals.
What exactly does your company do?
We explain products and services through creative storytelling and compelling visuals in hand-made Animated Videos.
What were the biggest challenges you have faced and how did you overcome them?
It was hard to learn how to face failures in general and work through them. The main thing is not to take failure as the end but rather as a part of the journey. If something doesn’t work – it’s okay, we can try something different.
Learning not to give up in the process was the greatest challenge for me.
What piece of advice do you wish someone had given you at the start of your career?
I wish someone told me upfront about the practical ways to organize business processes, work with subordinates, and build a strong brand. Very few CEOs are kind enough to share their positive personal experiences in these areas.
Who are your biggest influences and people you admire and why?
For me, the most influential were not so much certain personal stories, but rather success stories of companies overall.
For example, management legacies of Mercedes-Benz and Apple experienced their ups and downs, but all the same, followed their own path and remained successful through the years.
Ukrainian, marketing agency Fedorov is a huge inspiration for me, a good example of a stable and successful business that actively expands internationally.
None of us are able to achieve success without some help along the way. Is there a particular person who you are grateful towards who helped get you to where you are?
My past and current employees are the people who’ve made this company what it is now, and for this, I’m very grateful.
I’m also immensely grateful to all of our clients and partners for every project, recommendation, and feedback. They are always pushing us to work better.
And the last but certainly not the least – my girlfriend who helps and supports me in all situations 🙂
What do you see as your greatest success in life?
This is a complicated question because every time you rise over a small peak you see 3 even higher. 🙂 So I’m sure that my greatest success is somewhere ahead.
