Tell us your name and a little about yourself.

Virginia Phillips – I am an author, speaker, coach, podcaster, patient advocate, spouse and pet owner. I live in Colorado Springs and I love to spend time with Mother Nature.

What exactly does your company do?

We coach health and fitness entrepreneurs to be better leaders, excel faster and impact more.

What were the biggest challenges you have faced and how did you overcome them?

– Recovering from a car accident with permanent disabilities
– Climbing Pikes Peak
– Learning who I am after a chronic illness diagnosis and my 100% disability declaration
I overcame my biggest hurdles by committing to overcoming them, defining who I am, surrounding myself with the right people, and never giving up.

What piece of advice do you wish someone had given you at the start of your career?

Never lose touch with your important contacts and the best way to do that.

Who are your biggest influences and people you admire and why?

My Mom because she finds a way to gracefully handle whatever life throws at her.
Richard Branson because he believed in me when I didn’t and he is an amazing business person.
Frances Perkins the first secretary of labor and one of the Triangle fire women who fought for women’s rights in the workplace when no one listened.

None of us are able to achieve success without some help along the way. Is there a particular person who you are grateful towards who helped get you to where you are?

Rob Raymond who was willing to gamble on my abilities when I was recovering from an injury.

What do you see as your greatest success in life?

My current work as a patient advocate for Mast Cell Activation Syndrome Patients
