Ravi Abuvala – Building a 7 Figure Digital Agency

Recently, I got the opportunity to sit down with Ravi Abuvala for an interview. Ravi is a 7-Figure entrepreneur and has leveraged many systems to build his agency. I asked him about his background, his business, and for his best advice.
Hey Ravi, how old are you, where are you from, and what do you do?
I am an online entrepreneur who helps other entrepreneurs grow and scale their digital agencies through lead generation, systems, and virtual assistants.
Did you go to college?
I did, I attended Florida State University. I was actually supposed to go to Law School and even took the Law School Admission Test (scored top 10% in the nation) but decided it wasn’t the route for me.
What motivated you to be an entrepreneur?
Freedom. I think all people want one of three things: time freedom, financial freedom, or location freedom. I saw entrepreneurship as the path to achieving all three.
What made you get into the digital marketing space?
A long time ago I heard a saying that went something like, “if you find a way to make other people money, you will always have money.” Digital Marketing and Lead Generation is all about making other people more money, and I’ve been rewarded accordingly.
Why did you choose real estate as a niche?
Everyone told me it was the hardest industry out there and that nobody is successful in it, so I thought if I could be the person to crack the code I could seriously scale and solve a huge problem.
How have you leveraged Personal Branding?
I didn’t really know the power of Personal Branding when I first started (which is why it took me 6 months to make any money), but once I did and started investing in it my whole life changed. I get business from my brand, I am able to get free hotel stays, vacations, speaking events, dates, and much more.
What does your average day look like?
Well, to be honest, I’ve been traveling all over the world for the past five months, so there isn’t really an “average,” but I do believe in daily disciplines so I’ll give you a quick overview:
- Wake up early at 5:00 A.M.
- Meditate
- Write in my Journal
- Read
- Exercise
- Call loved ones
- Set and Take Appointments
What are your 3 core principles?
- Action leads to insight more often than insight leads to action.
- Discipline is the difference between successful and unsuccessful.
- Lack of money is the root of all evil.
What would you tell an aspiring entrepreneur in high school right now?
Fail. Fail. Then Fail Some More. You Can Afford it.
