Apart from the awesome Korean sheet masks that took the entire world by storm recently, you can always opt for a homemade version of face mask that will soothe your skin and nourish it to the max. The best thing about it is the fact that it’s so affordable, as you probably already have the majority of ingredients in your kitchen! For example, half of the avocado, one tablespoon of honey, and a handful of oats will do the trick when it comes to helping your skin stay hydrated without feeling greasy. On the other hand, plain yogurt, honey and turmeric powder (one soft. Just try them out and you won’t regret it!

Aromatherapy relaxation at its finest

Pampering yourself and feeding your senses with amazing scents is undoubtedly one of the best parts tablespoon each) will brighten your skin, combat pigmentation, and make your skin super elastic and of booking a spa treatment, so why wouldn’t you save some money and do it in the comfort of your own home? So, if practicing aromatherapy at home is your cup of tea, make sure to buy everything from incense and essential oils to quality scented candles and get ready for an at-home spa day. In fact, you should definitely get enough candle supplies so that you can pick the scents according to your current mood. There are numerous options, from relaxing lemongrass and fabulous coconut vanilla bean to enticing oriental musk, so don’t be picky, get all of them, and enjoy these magnificent scents every single day!

Give facial steaming a fair shot, too

In case you weren’t aware of it, facial steaming is a simple yet effective treatment that cleanses and nourishes your skin without breaking the bank. That’s right – you don’t need a luxurious sauna to steam your face and open your pores as you can do it at home! All you have to do is to pull your hair back and fill a large bowl with boiling water. You can also add a few bags of chamomile tea which has anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties (it can help with skin conditions such as eczema and psoriasis as well). The next step is leaning forward, not letting the hot water touch your skin, and staying in that position for at least 10 minutes. The steam will open up your pores and get rid of dirt, dead skin cells, bacteria, and makeup residue, while softening the blackheads at the same time, making them much easier to remove. It will also release trapped sebum and hydrate your skin by increasing oil production that naturally moisturizes your face. If you’re up for a deeper cleanse, just cover your head with a towel and trap the steam in front of your face!

Manicure for perfectly polished nails

Let’s be honest – beauty salons and spa centers aren’t the only places where you can get perfectly polished nails. Of course, these are always an option – especially when you’re in a hurry, but guess what? You can save loads of money in the long run by simply investing in manicure tools that will help you get your nails done at home. That’s right, so stop spending hundreds of dollars every year and achieve salon-level nails in your own bathroom! Apart from nail polish and a nail polish remover, you’ll also need a nail file, buffer, nail cutters, a cuticle stick, a bowl with water, and a moisturizer. The first step is removing the current nail polish, as you should never paint over chipped nails. Then cut your nails to wanted length, file them, and buff them to perfection. Soak your nails, moisturize them properly, push the cuticles back, and apply a base coat. When that’s done, apply at least two coats of your favorite color and a topcoat, and voila – your nails are good to go!

As you can tell, there really are a lot of fantastic spa treatments that can help you relax in the comfort of your own home, and these four have found their place on our list for a good reason. All you need to do is to pick at least one of these and enjoy your at-home spa day like a true boss!
