How Alex Gregoriades Went from Employee to “Email Bounty Hunter” and Generated Thousands for His Clients

Alex Gregoriades had no clue that a collapse at work would literally turn his life around and provide him the skills to scale businesses with email marketing.

“Two years ago, I was working at the airport as a coordinator. Basically, I was coordinating different stations such as the dispatchers, fuel loading, bag loading/unloading, check-in desks etc.

“One day while I was working, I suddenly wasn’t feeling well. I had a lot of pain in my chest and was dizzy. I immediately panicked. I thought that my life was over. Who was going to take care of my wife and daughter? What’s going to happen to them? All sorts of thoughts were going through my mind.

“I was rushed to the hospital. They did various tests on me to determine if I was having a heart attack or not.

“The good news is they told me that after all, it wasn’t a heart attack. I was basically stressed and burnt out. So they told me to take a few days off from work,” he said.

Alex then called his manager to let him know what happened. His response took Alex by surprise.

“Alex, you’re not tough enough for this job. I think you should go work somewhere else.”

Filled with embarrassment and fear, Alex decided to quit his job.

Now he had to figure things out and decide what he would do with his life.

In the meantime, every now and then, he’d hear this little voice in his head saying, “What if you’re not meant to be an employee? Maybe you should give entrepreneurship a shot and try your own thing.”

Alex decided to listen to this little voice. Long story short, he started and failed seven businesses. He tried MLM, developing websites, car flipping, e-comm, and much more.

After wasting thousands of dollars on his business ventures, he realized that the main reason behind his failures was his poor marketing skills.

“That’s when I started researching more about marketing. Soon I discovered a field I never knew existed. And that was copywriting. For some reason, I was instantly magnetized. So I started purchasing courses, books, and consuming content in order to develop this skill.”

A few months later, Alex felt ready to try his skills in the real world. He was writing FB ads, landing pages, and articles for different agencies.

Soon after, he received his first shot to write emails from an agency in Tennessee.

Alex started getting a lot of momentum from this job, and he then started closing his own clients.

He was generating great results for the businesses he was working with just by writing their emails. But after listening to his client’s problems, he discovered that there are more components that go into email marketing. And two major ones were list management and email deliverability. Wanting to generate more results for them and help them get a higher ROI, Alex started learning how to get emails out of spam and how to manage email lists.

At first, he thought that his newly developed skills were mediocre at best.

But when he managed to get them out of spam, 3X their open rates, double their clicks and 3X their email monthly revenue, he started believing this skill wasn’t normal.

Since then, Alex has been able to achieve similar results for many other businesses. In fact, he’s generated $300,000 for small companies. And now he has earned the nickname ‘Email Bounty Hunter’ because he hunts down hidden revenue on email lists.

Alex says that any business that’s not getting at least a 20% open rate and doesn’t have email as a reliable source of revenue should definitely reach out for help.

“My aim is to help companies and entrepreneurs become aware that you can skyrocket your business if you improve your emails. Unfortunately many businesses stop using emails as a source of revenue because they hear that it doesn’t work anymore. Or they don’t send enough emails and they believe it’s not worth it. Believe me you can achieve many things with emails. I’m already doing it for other businesses.”

Alex also thanks Troy Ericson for his help so far in his career. He also reiterated the importance of having a mentor, investing in yourself and working hard. You can reach out to Alex through his email or on LinkedIn.
