With more than 2 billion active users, Facebook remains a great opportunity for any business or individual who wants to generate income from it.
However, the question that many people ask is:
Can I also generate income with this social network, even if I don’t have a company?
Is there any way to start making money with a Facebook page if I don’t have a business?
There is no way: there are 5 different ways to do it!
Today I will teach you how to make money with your own Facebook page through 5 different methods that will allow you to start generating income easily.
Requirements to Monetize a Facebook Page
The first mandatory requirement is obviously to have a Facebook page.
You might be wondering if with your personal profile you can make money.
And the answer is yes.
But it is much harder to monetize a personal profile than a Facebook page because the personal profile is not specific.
In your Facebook profile, you can have friends with totally different interests and the Facebook algorithm is skewed to not let you reach half of your friends on your profile once you want to sell to them
So it’s quite hard.
How to Make Money with a Facebook Page
On the other hand, a Facebook page is much more specific because in it the fans have the same common interest.
If you make a page about food, only food lovers will click on “Like”.
If your page is aimed at pet owners, only those who have a dog, or a cat will become fans of it
So the first thing to keep in mind is that you must have your own Facebook page.
Forget about using your personal profile to earn money with this social network.
And remember that now you can create ads on Facebook.

How to make money with a Facebook page
Have you already created your own Facebook page and have some fans?
Then I will teach you the 5 different methods that you can use to make money with it.
Earn money on Facebook with mentions
If you have a good number of fans who follow the publications of your Facebook page, you can earn money by mentioning or promoting companies, businesses, or anyone who wants to make themselves known.
Many small businesses, brands or even entrepreneurs do not have a presence on Facebook or, if they have their own page, they want to make themselves more known among users.
That is why they are willing to pay pages with a good number of fans to be mentioned in a Facebook post (along with a photo) to attract customers or increase the number of visits to their web pages.
To achieve this type of collaboration, it is best that you search on Facebook or Google companies interested in your page, make a list of the most relevant, and contact them to reach an economic agreement in exchange for your publication.
But be careful: don’t contact anyone. You must do it with companies or brands related to the theme or interests of your Facebook page.
If you have a page dedicated to cell phones, it is not logical to mention a food company, for example.
Ideally, contact brands that sell accessories or products related to mobile phones.
Sell your own products
One of the easiest ways to make money with a Facebook page is by selling your own digital products.
These can be e-Books that you have written, such as ebooks or guides and manuals, or articles that can be downloaded immediately as online courses that you have created.
To sell them, you will only need to upload those files to a storage platform – such as Google Drive – and post an attractive photo of your product on Facebook with a short description and the link to make the payment.
Do not go over this type of posts because if you repeat them very often on your Facebook page, your fans will feel that you are saturating them with advertising.
It is best to publish one of these promotional posts for every ten normal posts.
Promote affiliate products on your page
Do you not have any products of your own?
Then sell other people’s items and get a commission for every sale you get.
This is what is called “affiliate marketing.”
This method works exactly like the previous one, except that instead of adding a link to your products, you will have to publish the affiliate link provided by the company in which you register.
There are many companies that have affiliate programs: Clickbank, Amazon, Apple, Expertnaira, JvZoo, etc.
Search the Internet a bit which is the company that best suits your Facebook page, sign up for its affiliate program, and choose the relevant products for your fans.
Publish your affiliate link and, every time someone clicks on that link and purchases the product, you will take a commission of the total sale.
Here I share some more tips to generate better income with affiliate programs:
a. Make sure that the affiliated products you choose interest your fans and are related to the theme of your page.
b.Accompany each publication with a short but interesting description, and with a good photo of the product.
NEVER post only the affiliate link.
See how your fans react to that post and how many “likes” it gets in the first hours. Check what types of comments that post receives and if they are negative or positive.
If the reaction from your fans is bad, look for another product. If it is good, continue selling it.
Ideally, use this method when you have at least 1,000 fans on the page.
Send traffic to your blog with AdSense ads
If you are also one of those who have a small corner on the Internet where you write posts frequently, you can redirect your Facebook fans to it to earn money.
All you have to do in this method is to place some Google AdSense ads on your blog. So, when your fans visit your page, they will see those ads and you will earn money too.
On your Facebook page, all you have to do is publish the links to each new article that you write with an attractive description to click on that link, go to your blog, and see your ads.
Do not think this is something silly: there are millions of people in Nigeria already doing this and earning good money with it.
Sell your own Facebook page
Every day there are more people who are dedicated to creating Facebook pages with a specific theme, publish different content on them to attract fans, and then sell them when they have reached a large number of followers.
Although it seems strange to you, a whole market has been generated around this, and there are many people who buy Facebook pages already created with fans for your small business or professional brand.
It is true that this method requires some patience and know well how to handle this social network.
But if you manage to create a good Facebook page, you can make this a profession with good income.
To give you a better idea: Facebook pages are usually sold with prices between $ 150 to reach $ 2,500 depending on the number of fans.
Don’t you think it’s a profitable idea?
I recommend that you combine all these methods or only some to generate even more income. For example, you can use your page to make money with AdSense on your blog, and at the same time sell mentions and affiliate products.
