Chain Link Fence Accessories
There are plenty of chain link fence accessories that are available to keep your fence looking its best. You can find everything from Anchor blocks and anchor weights to Terminal posts and top rails. If you want to make sure your fence is secure, you will need to take care of it about robotics and automation engineering.
Tension bars
In addition to chain link fence and gate, you’ll need a few other key components for a complete installation. These include line posts, U-posts and a few other esoteric components to round out the ensemble. This can be an expensive process but if you are doing it right you can get a well crafted fence that lasts for years to come. Fortunately, there are many reputable companies like Ace Hardware that offer a selection of these savvy fence components.
The best part is that you can order a few of the best suited for your needs and budget. For example, there are some line post and U-posts sized to perfection. As far as line posts go, you’re limited to a few choices but they are a cinch to install. If your budget is a little more modest, check out the other offerings like lightweight chicken wire.
Top rails
The top rail is an important part of a chain link fence. This is because it forms the horizontal perimeter of the fence. Top rails are available in a variety of styles. They are designed to be easy to install. You can also buy top rails in a PVC coating.
In addition to the top rail, you may want to consider installing a gate. Gates are available in double or triple varieties. These gates come in sizes ranging from 3.5 m to 6 m in width. For security, you can opt to have ball caps installed at the end of each gate.
Line posts
Line posts are used to hold rails in place and provide additional strength. They are usually installed between terminal posts. The diameter of line posts is 60.3 mm.
If you are constructing a fence, it is important to know the right size and spacing for your line posts. Generally, the distance between line posts should be no more than 10 feet. However, the closer the posts are, the stronger the fence.
Line posts are typically sold in two sizes. One is the U-post, which is a U-shaped cross-section. These are easy to install.
